My “Happy” is focusing intent and energy into something and someone whose happiness is heightened as a direct result of my input.
Meaning?
I like making stuff for people. I like giving.
So. A dear gal-pal of mine has a birthday tomorrow…for which I made a card. I’d awaited receipt of a particular stamp set (The Tea Shoppe, Stampin’ Up!) in order to make said card.
It arrived. It may or may not have been accompanied by a plethora of other goodies as my treat-to-me for completing Book 1 of my herbalism program.
*shifty eyes*
In order to use more of the stamps, I made a second card.
Why?
To say “Thank you.”
Said gal-pal did something of such significance that my up-for-27-hours-straight brain cannot articulate into the proper grammatical structure today.
She’s a tea gal. I had a teacup stamp.
I gathered my Graphic 45 Renaissance Faire paper line and came up with:
Oh, yes.
That’s a small section of raffeta for use as a faux “tea bag string”.
Both cards also used Framelits from Stampin’ Up!. First time I’ve ever used anything like the Spellbinders die-cuts.
I love them and want to own them all.
Just sayin’.
Go, Go GimpyAss here also hand-cut out the tea-cup.
Bat-shit crazy.
Just sayin’.
All the whilst in the throes of the worst mutha freakin’ neck pinch EVA’.
I’m hoping it subsides very soon (it’ll be a week tomorrow) and that I can, y’know, get some sleep I’ve heard people rave about…so that I can make some more cards. I’ve got a slew of new stamps and I wanna play! 🙂
